Even indie travellers end up in tour groups sometimes. Almost everyone will agree that a more authentic experience can be found by doing it yourself, but sometimes time or transport options leave you with little choice.
We suggest three reasons you might choose a package day-trip and balance these against reasons you might choose to go it alone. We give you some thoughts aimed at helping you decide the day-trip dilemma: to tour or not to tour.
