Enjoying slow travel
Hi there,
Linda and I are currently in the UK after spending a month in Turkey and France. Both were amazing in their own way. In Turkey we celebrated ANZAC day, which I podcasted about for the Traveler’s Notebook. Our time in France was spent in Champagne houses and floating around central France in the Maria Helena — a 23m canal boat.
We’re really enjoying the periods of slow travel we’ve been able to have recently. There’s a real difference between piloting a Dutch barge at 6km/hr and getting on the Eurostar!
